Pearls in my hair

...Literally! My long pearl necklace, woven into my hair
and a matching shorter necklace made into my bracelet.
My H&M dress which was last year's christmas pressie
from le bf is actually purple, not blue (in case the pc is trying to trick your eyes)
Purple is the new black, don't you agree?
I love its simple lines, its snugness
(okay it's probably a teeny bit too snug!)
and wide belt.

To whom I owe the inspiration for the day?
The iconic Ms Golightly herself:)
Now, if only I had those long gloves, shades
and am half as beautiful as her!

I love that dress, and no, it's not too snug ;) It looks like it fits your perfectly.

And I LOVE the necklace made into a headband! You've inspired me to try this for myself!

This outfit has such a classic, elegant feel to it. I adore the idea of putting a pearl necklace in your hair instead of a hair band as well, I wish this would work in my hair unfortunately its so fine even normal hair bands dont really stay in! xo

Sher! You do look every bit like Ms. Hepburn in that scene! And that dress isn't too snug- it fits you perfectly! Cath has an H&M dress very similar to that one and I'm always amazed that something that inexpensive can have such beautiful lines and fit so well. Audrey would be so proud (of that and the pearls ;).

Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!!!
