If I could just see you

LDR is tough. I guess that goes without saying. You think you're doing fine and dandy and suddenly one day, you'll be hit by a monstrous kind of loneliness that just makes you wanna wallow in self-misery and despair all day long. You allow yourself that one day to feel all depressed and morose, and the next day you have to pick yourself up and try to get over the loneliness haunting you. Focus on the big picture, you say. Or at least, that's what I've been trying to tell myself. To further comfort my heart, I've been looking through pictures of Santorini in hopes of cheering me up. I hope it'll be just as beautiful when I'm there in person.

I was tagged ages ago by Rose of Roses are Red   to do a favourite photo meme and as usual I can never decide on only one, so I present you some of my favourite moments from eurotrip summer'09. Hope you're not too bored of them already!
Paris - Extremely excited to see the Eiffel Tower upclose!
Scotland - I love how every morning I wake up to beautiful scenery like this!
London - In front of Buckingham Palace, I love how you can see the storm approaching.
Florence - Had to pinch myself a few times to make sure what I'm looking at is real and not just a dream!
Pisa - Such a hot, sunny day! Look at the blue blue sky:)
And of course Venice - probably the most romantic place on earth.

On a last note, these are some links where you can find me! Please feel free to add me so I won't feel so lonely:)
Weardrobe

p.s. Can anyone send me an invitation to lookbook?

you are quite the world traveller! long distance sucks, but think of the beautiful places/moments you have and will have (especially the travels) when you get sad.

Hear ye hear ye Sweetie! I used to be in LDR not so long ago but I'm glad it's over, we've finally reunited in one country finally.

Distance makes the heart grows ponder, rest assured everything will be alright, you just have to do your part like talk to him often, send sweet messages and don't pick a fight :)

Santorini is beautiful!!! I'm adding you on twitter then xoxo

I love Venice. And i totally agree with you; quite possibly the most romantic place on earth. I love the Italians for not only their fashion, but also their easy attitude. It's a heart tug of war between France and Italy for me.

Such wonderful photos!

yup tats exactly how it feels! that whole LDR ting... there're days where i just text really moody sms-es to the BF and when im moody, i tend to pick mini arguments abt the silliest tings... haha. LDR is tough job...there're just times where u feel 110% insecure and that insecurity just makes u feel moody for no good reason. but keep your mood up! time flies by quickly. b4 u noe it, u'll be in the beautiful Greece, sharing sweet hugs & kisses with the bf & savouring yummy Greek food! i love it - Greek food's so full of flavour.

p.s. Maccas is McDonalds! its just a term that we use to refer to Macs here =) i noe mcdonalds breakfast isnt THE most fantastic, but i get alittle upset when bf makes promises & dun kip dem!

*sigh* I know how it feels my love. I was dealing with the exact same emotions last night. I went to KLPac to watch a play after year plus and it was without my boypren. It was so hard. being at the place where the two of us would go and share experiences. But at the end of it all I just have to put on my big girl panties and move on. *sigh*

Sher! Just keep smiling girl and think of happy things everyday. Surely its never easy but you can do it! For me,if I need to I just let myself cry it out, sleep over it and I'll be fine the next day. 'Crying' is good at times.

And all these photos are just stunning,I really want to visit Paris one day. So lovely :D

I have never experienced a LDR but I can only imagine how hard it must be. I know your a strong person and there are many people available here to talk if you need anything. Your pictures are stunning and I think it would be amazing to visit there sometime.
