While Hollywood and the rest of the world was abuzz with the
talk of the performances on this year’s MTV’s Video Music Awards, we were more interested
in the outfits and accessories the stars were sporting, and more importantly, what
earrings they were rocking. Most of the guests settled for a low-key approach
with small diamond studs or no earrings at all. However, when the stars aren’t
at an award show they fancy a much different look.
Here are some examples: Just a few weeks ago, during an event
supporting the Acuvue Inspiration Award, ex-Disney star Demi Lovato was proudly
showing off her diamond
hoop earrings. The earrings she wore looked amazing, which isn’t really a
surprise; diamonds go with everything. It’s safe to say that hoops - both plain
and fancier styles - are definitely making a comeback.

Back in June of this
year, Catherine Zeta Jones was going about her day and was photographed in New
York City wearing a pair of diamond set hoop earrings.
Oh, and we can’t forget Halle Berry. The legendary starlet rocked her movie
premiere in early 2013 with a form fitting pants suit and a pair of medium sized
diamond hoop earrings.
Trends come and go in the fashion industry. There is never a
shortage of new ideas and designs, but some things will never go out of style.
Diamond hoop earrings have been around for decades and are a classic must-have
in anyone’s jewelry box.
