Baring My Soul

Photobucket

Wearing my favourite mng dress

I feel there is something magical and infinitely beautiful
about a woman's bare back.

I'm sure that is the reason why
it has been a subject of fascination and a recurring theme in
many paintings by artists around the world.

"Somehow my soul is bare for you to see,
the intricate lines of my back revealing my vulnerability to the world,

showing the most fragile side of me.
It conceals layer and layers of hidden secrets deep in my soul,
inviting you, beckoning you to discover
the very truth I have to offer.

I'm throwing away the facade and face I've been wearing,
Stripped to the very last core of me ,
My only question is being myself enough for you?"

I really enjoy a bare-backed dress. It's sexy, but not overtly so. Nice collection of pictures, too.

Hi darling Sher ... what a lovely post! I love the look of women from behind, too, especially when they're wearing skirts and bonnets, so all you see is a wisp of hair and the pretty silhouette. It's romantic! My real name is Meg, and yes - I was named after Meg March of Little Women! Haha, but I am more like Jo - writer, tomboy. My middle name is Elizabeth (Beth), and I do have a younger blond sister, too, who is VERY much like Amy! Thank you for stopping by and I love coming to your blog!

Oh Sher, you are just so wonderful. I agree about a woman's back- so beautiful. The poem & pictures you selected are really great.

i love your backless dress, i agree it is very beautiful, definitely not enough attention is given. i think backless dresses are even more sexy, than short dresses or low necklines, and it adds more sophistication! i love this one http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2008/10/13/swank_comp_gallery__600x400.jpg

also, how did you create the gif?? it's very cool! i wish i could do that too!

Bare backs can often be so much more feminine than cleavage. More alluring as well.
