Restless

My feelings are all mixed up today, I feel so restless without any apparent reason. I wish I knew the answers to every question I have and I wish so hard that I had myself figured out.
I'm probably just having one of those days.

Apologies for the grainy pictures, I blame the poor lighting in my room.As mixed up as my feelings were, so were my choice of aesthetics. I put a polka dot print blouse and plaid tweed shorts together, adding a short suede vest and knee high socks to sweeten the concoction. Strangely I felt it kind of works, but then it may be because I'm just a bit delusional today. I'm sure all I need is a good night's sleep and tomorow will be a better day.

What do you do to cheer up on days like these?

I love how you paired those prints! I looks awesome! I especially love those socks...I don't know, I just find over the knee things to be really seductive!

I hope you cheer up dear, but I know exactly how you feel! Just curl up with a good book or a favorite movie and think about happy times! Or...play dress up with all your pretty things and parade around in front of a mirror. That makes me feel better!

I meant to say "it looks awesome" not "I looks awesome!"

well, I would suggest you hotfoot it down to a Chiropractor. Whenever I have inexplicable days like you are having, its always down to glands, hormones etc, and a great Chiropractor can spot that and deal with it - and hey presto - no more ! Have a lovely weekend

I love the layering you did on top. It definitely works and you look super cute. On days like you described I usually curl up in bed with my dogs or go on a walk =) xoxo
I hope you feel better soon!

Hey darlin' you look lovely and sure, you may feel delusional but who doesn't once in a while. Just acknowlege that what you're feeling is temporary.
Try to get A LOT of fresh air (hard when you're in msia or is it s'pore?) and take your iPod of Colbie Callait, KT Tunstall, David Gray, John Mayer and the like. Then, meet up with a friend for cold drinks - starfruit juice? ... What ever works, my love!

Or just pray :)

Sounds silly, but I eat chocolate and cakes that I like in this kind of days... and listen to 50's happy music, like Bobby Vee... Today I was a little bit like you, I guess... but now, after a "love me" session, I feel better... hope you feel better too!

I get blah days, too. Nothing feels right and I'm just bummed. Nothing can really change that mood but once another day comes, everything is alright, again. It doesn't happen often but enough to know that it's normal.

P.S. That outfit does work!

I get those kind of days too, actually having it now :(
Well, to cheer up, I like to put on a favourite DVD and a bit of chocolate doesn't hurt ;)

And I too was having a restless day yesterday(Saturday) same like you! Well, what I did was I went to do my favorite things. Watching youtube videos and taking short walks around on my own:)

Woooo,I do love you hang up your earrings on a string all in a straight line. So creative!

Ohh,you saw the Cotton On lace top too? Its really nice right?? Yeahh,I think I'll go for Ray Bans. Yeaaa, its scary not having done with the Christmas gifts yet. Ahhhhhh

big hugsssss

Don't worry, it will past, just do something you like and relax. Usually when I feel depressed, I put on some crazy make up or I go to youtube and watch make up tutorials that I like, or I try to find clothes that I like on the internet, or just other things that I like a lot.

you are the only one who can improve your spirit:)

kiss!

I think these things look great together! And the little vest is so cute. Mismatched patterns are in at the moment right? I just bought a dress yesterday with a floral print on the bottom half and black/white strips at the top...i dont think it could be any more mismatched lol.
Probably I would go for a walk on days like these or try and visit my bf or buy some flowers :)

Leah said...

You did well girl... the combination of different patterns worked really well.

Think of happy thoughts... that's what I always do when I'm feeling low. I even write down things that make me happy and you'll be surprised to find out that a lot of things make you happy. Cheer up girl... tomorrow will be a brighter day.

I thought I was following you already. Oh well, now I am.

Aw feel better! I know how you feel, I tend to get that way in school. (And, btw, your outfit actually does work in a quirky kind of way) I usually just like to lay on my bed and day dream or zone out.

Beautiful outfit. You look lovely. :) I'm sorry you were feeling down. Whenever I get in a funky mood like that, I like to read a good book and just relax. It distracts me but keeps me comfortable at the same time. :) I hope you're feeling better!

Love the clashing prints! I think I'm having one of those days too - I felt myself welling up a bit at Elf because there wasn't enough Christmas Spirit to get the sleigh in the air. Ridiculous. Hormones eh? Haha :) x
