A tiny seed of hope

I honestly need to find myself another pair of pants, I reach for this one far too often. Pants have always been a lil tricky for me, it's always been hard to find a pair that fits and flatters oneself at the same time. So I cling to the old faithful ones that do their duties well unabashedly.

Here I'm actually wearing a rather simple outfit built on ( I guess you can call it vintage) my mom's old glittery bustier tube top. I remember a picture of my mom wearing it with my two year old self, so it's amazing to see how the top has lasted throughout the years. My mom had given away most of her old clothes (sobs) so this top and her engagement dress are probably the only ones left, salvaged from her past. Perhaps I'll find a way to somehow wear her white lace maxi engagement dress one day?

And yes, I seem to have an obsession with heidi braids at the moment (even though I had to weather a number of star wars/princess leia comments thrown at me).  I'm also wearing an antique looking watch that no longer shows the time, but I think it looked good on my wrist anyhow.

I'm not sure why but today I feel hopeful. I feel like I have everything and everyone I need in the whole wide world, I have my whole life ahead of me and I truly believe the best is yet to come.
