Little pearly white wishes

I made my sheer white lace dress a more respectable length by adding a tutu skirt underneath as a petticoat. I definitely think that everyone needs to have at least one white lace dress in their closet, it's extremely versatile! I can think of so many more ways to wear the dress! Figuring out ways to wear the same piece differently really makes the art of dressing up a lil bit more interesting, don't you think?

I wish I have the time to
pick up a pencil and draw again
learn how to sew
write my heart out
learn how to cook something other than instant noodles
take a hundred and one pictures of all the ideas I have in my head
go out with my girlfriends and do girlie stuff if you know what I mean
Watch Amelie again and again
Finish Love in the time of cholera and Brideshead revisited, two new books I bought.

What do you wish you have the time to do?
Maybe it's time for me to stop wishing and put them into action:)

I love these photos! The setting is absolutely beautiful. Were these taken in a swamp-type place? I especially love the second photo.

Your outfit reminds me of a 1920s safari outfit. I hope you find time to do all of those things - definitely make time to do at least a few of them. :)

I wish I can see your sketches... please take the time to do some. Don't worry about the cooking, I'm old and I can't cook. It didn't make me any less of a woman. Hahaha!

Love your outfit Sher... so sweet and so charming and so innocent. xoxo

How I've missed your blog! You look gorgeous as ever, Sher. And I love your outfit, especially your dress and hat.

I wish I had more time to blog, read, and work on myself. And this Summer that is exactly what I'm going to do.

Sher, you are brilliant! The idea to add the tutu for length is a great idea and it looks amazing. I wish I had the time get back into music. :) Your wish to do more girly stuff also sounds wonderful to me! Happy Tuesday, darling.

Love this hat! And yes, the fun of fashion is trying new things with old favourites!

Darling you look adorable! The hat looks really fancy on you (and I love the pic where it seems to fly!)
Ohh there are so many things I'd love to do besides my incredible big bunch of schoolwork.. Like just doing NOTHING for a day, just watching SATC, Gossip Girl, The Hills etc. Going out with friends till 7 in the morning and then going home with some random guys you just met and have an afterparty... Eating a loooot of icecreams at the beach with great weather..
Gosh I'll stop writing them things or I'll get depressed by the thought of not having any time doing it. I just hope you'll be able making your wishes come true.

Love, E

Oh I wish I had time to do things like crochet and cross stitch like they do in Anne of Green Gables! And writing once more would be lovely! Not just research papers or analyses of other novels, but creative writing! And it'd be nice to escape to the countryside of France or Italy for a while, spread out a checkered blanket, smooth the wrinkles from a light sundress, lay back and fall asleep to the sound of silence and my own day dreams!

i often feel like you live in a completely different galaxy than me! How do you have so much beauty around you! I love how you made it more decent haha and added the petticoat, so cute and that image of the hat being thrown is just about my favorite thing.

You look lovely as always sweet Sher. There are so many things I wish i had the time or motivation to do such as buying and sewing a vintage dress pattern, doing a real spring clean out, plant a vegetable garden, cook more, bake more, spend more time with friends, listen to more music, take up a dance class, finish my many sewing and craft projects, ok im going to stop now and ive hardly started.

I hope you get a chance to do some of those things on your list real soon.

Thanks for your lovely inspirational posts Sher.

I tend to make time for the things I want to do. Like drawing, playing the piano, reading, cooking, photography, writing, travelling and spending time with my handful of good friends. I love the scarf you are wearing. I adore hats - am in love with the hat pictured above. Dress bag, shoes are both charming. You have gorgeous skin, too!;-)
