Love and other drugs

Just a few blurry pics of my casual outfit from last weekend. I love my gingham and my leopard.

Exactly 2 more weeks to go before I get to meet my boy in London and we embark on our 9 day journey to Geneva, Bern, Luzern and our final destination Milan. I'm so excited that I'll probably start packing everything tomorrow.

Can't wait to wear my new winter coat and boots! Though, the real issue would be whether I'll be able to survive the harsh wintery weather that I'm expecting. If you have any travel tips or tips on how to combat the cold, I would love to know

How wonderful that Spring will begin in the middle of such a scenic journey with your boy. It's a perfect time of year to give birth to new and beautiful sights and experiences. The only tips I have for the cold are many light layers that you can put on or take off, a hat, scarf, and maybe thermal socks or liners for boots and gloves. Some of the warm light clothing can be expensive if it's made for skiing. Are you traveling by train?

I suggest layering something not too heavy underneath because if it ever starts to get warm, you can de-layer! :) I usually wear just a thick coat and a jacket on top of everything else, and that's easy to take off.

Have fun!!

Aw I bet your so excited about seeing your guy again! I seem mine tomorrow after six months and its soo exciting! your trip sounds fabulous - can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. Hopefully it'll be fully into spring while your over here - it's definitely heading that way - longer sunnier days - just missing any warmth at the moment.

I like your outfit! The pattern on the purse is such a neat touch! :D

I actually prefer winter because I like to bundle up with cute sweaters and stuff, but I've never endured anything too brutal, being that I live in Georgia, so... I guess I can't say much for the intense weather... :P

Oooohhh holiday! I want to go to Milan, too! *envious* Hehe are you thinking of outfits already? I always try to plan way in advance.

Combat cold? Lots and lots of layers. Heat escapes through your head the fastest, I heard, so try to wear a beanie or something. Fingers are the worst because it hurts when it's cold, get really good gloves with fur inside perhaps? Oh, holding a cup of hot drink helps, too.

Where are you from, by the way? :)
