It's been over a month since I last posted and it feels rather weird now, coming back here after so long. To explain my absence this time, the story began in October when husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the news that we were expecting our first baby. This led to us dreaming up and reading up all kinds of baby related stuff, to only be reduced to having anxiety and worries over the pregnancy in the last couple of weeks. It all ended with a very disappointing and painful miscarriage in early November. Which explains why I've taken all this time to basically heal from this experience and to recover from it all.

As it has only recently felt all right to start caring about frivolous stuff again, I find myself really missing the blog. And I think it misses me too. With Christmas just around the corner, it's hard to feel sad or depressed really. Even though this had to happen, I know that I'm already blessed far beyond what I could ever wish or hope for. Hope you're all doing well and spending time with your loved ones

I am so sorry that happened to you, but I'm happy to see you're truly seeing how blessed your life is. It can be difficult to see that positivity despite the pain, but this Christmas, you have each other and that's a blessing from God you can't top. :) <3 I hope you have an amazing Christmas this year.

The title of your blog post, "Bittersweet" is so apropos. It's wonderful to see and read your lovely blog posts again but I feel sad for you that you suffered the pain and emotion of a miscarriage. Your traveling and marriage and all your photos are always uplifting and interesting.
It's warming though to see the photos of you with your Peter Pan collar and lovely sweater in that setting with the fascinating old growth trees and pretty foliage in the background.
Best wishes for a very healthy and Happy New Year!
