Red red red!

I don't know what it is about my obsession with red lipsticks but I'm constantly on the hunt for that perfect shade of red to paint my lips with. And since I bought a new red lipstick today, I thought I'll share with you my new discovery.

This is Red Porcelain from Maybelline's colorsensational lipstick line which found its way home with me today. The color is such a pretty cool red and I just love the creamy formula of this new lipstick. It goes on smoothly and I'm so happy with this buy. It's a little weird though that I couldn't find the shade on their site, so I'm not sure if this is a limited edition color.

And since I'm at it, I thought I'll show you the best red lipsticks in my collection. Got to give it to Mac's Ruby Woo, the first red lipstick I ever bought, love it to bits! Revlon's Really Red is another of my favourite, you can't go wrong if you're looking for a classic, matte red. And I've got to include the Nyx Extreme Lip Creme in Absolute Red in my list, although it's a tad darker than the three other lipsticks. Absolute Red a really nice vampy shade when you want something striking, bold and in your face!

My collection of lipsticks! From the darkest shade to the lightest (the Sephora honey on the furthest right is a new purchase and I must say I'm really loving nude lips). I wear the Revlon Persian Melon super pink lipstick almost all the time, it cost next to nothing and it's by far my favourite go to. I'm curious to know what are your favourite lipstick color and brand!

My collection of lipgloss tends to be super girlish pink, I think they're the best color for lipgloss. Especially when they come in shades that looks yummy and edible too.
I must admit I was more impressed with the Sephora lipstick wand packing than the colors themselves, but I haven't try out all the colors yet. So the process of trying out each color should be quite fun in itself!

These two items are some new addition to my makeup collection and I truly love them to bits. Posie tint gives such a beautiful pink blush to my cheeks and the Porefessional does its job really really well in minimizing the appearance of pores. So I'm really glad I got them the other day.

These are the other blushers I have that I've neglected a little after I got the posie tint. Still those Stila blush pots are wonderful products and I can't believe such tiny pots had lasted me for years! And I use them almost everyday too.

What I slapped onto my face every morning! Other than that, I only use some really inexpensive Maybelline pressed powder to do the job.

Eyeliner is such an important part of my makeup routine. It does wonders to open up one's eyes and my favourite would have to be the Canmake pencil liner, its gives a really thick creamy effect that I just adore.

My favourite mascara is actually the giant Kiko mascara that I bought during my trip to Paris last year. It was really really cheap and I've never heard of the brand before but it beats the rest of the mascaras I have here.

I tried and I tried to get my hands on the Urban Decay Naked/ Naked 2 Pallete in Sephora but no such luck till today! So I settled for their Book of Shadows IV which is pretty neat but I hope I get to a Naked pallete one fine day soon! My favourite eyeshadow colors are the midnight rodeo and midnight cowgirl, they're so shimmery and glittery:)

I got this collection this month and have only tried out the pink color, can't wait to try out the other 4. It took me about 1-2 coats to get a really matte shade, so I'm pretty pleased with this buy too.

A thousand years

Something simple with hints of blue and turquoise for a rainy day. It's been raining almost everyday here and I can't complain much as I do love the pitter-patter sound of the rain and kicking my shoes in the puddles after a good rainshower.

This satchel purse is a new found love and so are my ring and earrings. Sort of my birthday gift to myself:)

I haven't seen the new twilight movie but I've been listening to this song over and over again as soon as I heard it for the first time the other day. I know, I'm such a sap! ♥

It's my birthday tomorrow and the pearl beaded pink shoes are an early birthday gift from my sis. Aren't they the cutest thing ever? You wouldn't believe that I got my lace dress for only $15 at the bargain rack. Goes to show you never know what you can find in the sales.

I wonder if it's too early to put up the Christmas tree but the boy and I are just so excited we got it all done last night! Well, it is our first time decorating the tree together. Can't wait for the festivities to begin!!

I also can't wait for tomorrow night's birthday dinner, hoping for a special and magical evening spent with my boo♥
