Wind in the Night

Your words, whispered to me like the wind in the night,
Unguarded and unknowingly, they're now hidden in the depths of my soul,
Your words are like dewy kisses in the early morn,
Fresh and untamed, they caressed and pierced through my very being.

Your love, it runs deep like the mighty river,
Where I would gladly drench and soak my heart,
Your love is strong like the trees in the forest,
Anchoring my soul in this uncertain world.

Now you stand before me with all you have to give,
and I will say to you, all you have to give is all I have ever needed,
Holding you in my arms, I will lay and bare my soul,
Offering you to do as you wish to my yielding fragile heart.
