Chasing Your Starlight

Took these pictures last week
when I borrowed my mom's brooch to dress up my beanie a little.
I think it looks so much nicer now! Don't you think so?
I love my beanie, in fact it is probably one of my most favourite items in the closet

I bought my knitted beanie before I went on my Eurotrip earlier this year
and it will always remind me of the wonderful memories I had there.
I had it on me when I explored Oxford Circus on my first day of London,
which was cold and rainy in supposedly summer.
It was too hot to use it in Paris, Rome and Venice,
so it was tucked away in my suitcase till I reached Scotland.
There I had to take it out again as it was even colder than in London!
I wore it as I climbed the staircase leading up to the Edinburgh Castle
and I also had it on me as I hiked (oh boy, there was certainly a lot of walking
and climbing in Edinburgh) up to Arthur's Seat.

The bf forced me to go up Arthur's Seat on the last day before I had to leave,
he said it's a must-do for anybody who steps into Edinburgh
(I don't really believe him but I did it anyway)
Happy to say I made him proud because I managed to climb up the whole 820 ft
despite rainy and misty weather!
At that time, I could only concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other!
Well, my dear beanie was there to witness my triumph when I finally reached the peak!

Edinburgh Castle

Do you have a favourite item in your closet?
Does it hold any special meaning or bring back fond memories?

I love the beanie! I think the item of clothing that brings back memories is my white sweatshirt that I wore on my second date with my ex-boyfriend. I know, cheesy:(

Questions!
1. How did you become so stylish?
2. Where do you want life to take you?
3. Whats your goal at the moment? and your ultimate life goal?

have a great day! :)

I just love that beanie. And what a fabulous idea to pin a brooch to it! My favorite item is a 5 year old Betsy Johnson tulle confection of a dress that is the colors of the ocean!

Wow I didn't realize that you live in Malaysia , that is so awesome! You should do more outdoor photos, so we can see the beautiful landscape:)
I'm not planning a trip to Paris. I know it's going to be spontaneous! One of these days I'm just going to pack a tiny suitcase, drive to the airport and fly to Paris:) hehe

awwww sher u look so cute in that beanie! i absolutely cant wear beanies; i look super weird in them! i bot a beanie once, when i 1st came to melb, and that was THE LAST. haha... N my current fave item in the closet will have to be the pair of GASP skinny jeans i got during a sale! it's so matchable with anything & everything. love it heaps!

How sweet! i love it when my bf sings to me, esp 侧田's 美丽之景. have u heard that song b4? he used to sing that when he was chasing me back then. the lyrics are really good. have a listen if u havent alr (i hope u understand canto!) so hearing that song really brings back heaps of sweet memories!

my wedding dress.....it'll have to be simple; i dun like too much details on wedding dresses & it'll have to be off-shoulder! i have this thing abt off-shoulder wedding dresses. N i want a really LONG veil. n maybe add a pretty vintage looking tiara ;P what's ur wedding dress gonna b like?

Anonymous said...

as for the hair extensions~~ i'll take more close up pics of the many knots n upload soon!

my bf doesnt like permed hair too! he said thank goodness the curls are not permenant. he said my head's too small & i look weird in the curls! i thot so too @ 1st, cos not used to curls, but after awhile, i kinda developed a liking to it :) what's with guys and their preference for their gfs to have straight flowy hair instead of curly springy hair? puzzling isnt it? ;)

thanks for the award pass-on dear~ i'll update soon :) ur blog's always a lovely read in the mornings. off to get my cuppa coffee! enjoy ur day :)
