Endlessly

I really miss having someone to do all these silly, lovey dovey poses with.

The boy and I are now in the beginning of our second year of LDR and I can't help but marveled at how far we've come. Now I must tell you, all my life I've never been a believer of long distance relationships and never thought I would eventually end up in one. When the boy told me he will be leaving for nearly 3 years to Edinburgh and implored for me to wait for his return, I must admit that I said yes without even seriously considering whether I was capable or truly ready for a relationship with a physically absent boyfriend. I had thrown myself into it with reckless abandon, hoping that somehow, someway I'll be able to find my way around it. Let me assure you that it is not easy nor will it ever be easy (though it does get easier with time). Loneliness, insecurities, strife, and doubts on whether he'll remain faithful and whether you will be able to remain faithful are just some of the things your heart and mind may go through. Undeniably, we've had our share of ups and downs, even at some point contemplating whether we should still continue with this relationship. But in spite of all that, the thought of not being with each other hurts even more than whatever issue or conflict that was hurting us.

And I guess it all boils down to that, whether you still picture yourself with that person even after the ugliest fight or how badly he or she has annoyed you. If the answer is yes, then the distance be it a hundred miles or thousands of miles, will not be able to stand in the way of you and the one you love. Keeping that commitment is hard work, mind you. The boy and I make it a point to talk to each other everyday, with whatever means of communication available so that we will never go one day without speaking to one another. If we're unable to call, we write emails so that the other person can have something to look forward to in the day.

As for now, we can only wait for the hands of time to move vigorously till it reaches the day where we can finally be reunited and leave our LDR days behind forever. Then, we can look back and say "we made it".

And hey, you made it to the end of thispost!! Good job, you get free hugs from me

This post is too sweet.
You and your boyfriend seem so perfect together!
I know how hard it is to be in a long-distance relationship...but it looks like you're able to handle it very well! There were times when I wondered if I could make it.

It's tough, but hang in there, and he'll be back before you know it!

You and your boyfriend have definitely been through a lot already & I admire the two of you for the commitment, respect, and trust that you have for each other. Not everyone could survive an LDR, but you two show all of us that yes, it IS not easy, but if both matter to each other then whatever obstacles that life throws you way, you'll get through it.

I wish you both the best. Your photos already look like pre-nup pics! I'm confident you'll make it til the end ☮.♥.☆

Awww I totally agree with your every words. Sometimes I feel i'm totally mad for doing this LDR lark, but most of the time I just know he is worth it, my guy is the reason why I carry on. I think it takes two very special people to make an LDR work, but you sound as madly in love and as delightfully happy that me and my guy have!

I wish you and your guy, all the happiness! Have a lovely weekend

Never say never right. I never believe in LDR too, but now watching you and watching how you take it, and your conclusions, I believe on it. If love is there, is always possible.
And if you love him, and he loves you, it better keep with the relation, because you know that he belong too you, no matter the distance, he belong too you.
I wish you a lot of luck and pattience in your relation.

And...you look so sweet together!!!

Kisses Dear!

What a great looking couple. You both seem so well matched. I believe Sher that if things are meant to be they are and distance and time does not matter. It will strengthen your love if it's meant to be. Happy New Year dearest. xx

awwww what a cute couple!!!

and i agree with everything you've said. faithfullness and communication is very important especially in a long distance relationship. your situation kinda reminds me of my situation before. we have to communicate everyday in any means, and our day would not be complete without saying i love you's and i miss you's to each other.

yay i got a hugs from you! lol

have a nice day sher!

hey sher, i cant even begin to imagine how hard it must be for you, my bf left for an internship in Holland for 3 months (nothing compared to 3 yrs)during which i was in hospital for key hole surgery it was so hard being apart and being sick just made it worse not having him to lean on and make me feel better. But love is strong and this will make u so much stronger, when he gets back every day will feel like a holiday :)

Aw, your sentiments are so true. An ex boyfriend would leave for months filming TV shows and some weekends here and there for random gigs and that was hard, but I can't image the constant absence. I agree though- if you guys can get through this part of your relationship then you will be able to look back and say that you made it through this and you can face anything together after it. You two are too cute together! :) xo, Mel

hey sweetie, i'm so glad for you. it sure isn't easy at all ay. :)

and i forgot to reply your question in my blog, hehe. a ganache is a chocolate tart - the crust is that of a tart or a pie (biscuit crumbs) and the filling is just melted pure baking chocolate with some cream. :) it's so very sinful. it's just a chocolate tart. :) really, really delish!

Sher! It's been too long since I've been back here, school has been crazy!

This is the cutest post ever, and you and your bf are too cute. I'm in a LDR too, and will be through the rest of grad school. I know what you mean when you just want to be able to be with each other and you can't. It's clear that you love each other though, and I have no doubt that you'll make it!

Hope you have a great new year!!
