Kiss the rain ♥

Picking strawberries is such an enjoyable task, it is really hard to control oneself and not give in to the urge of picking every red shrub you see! I could have go on for hours had it not been for the boy who promptly took the scissors out of my hand after I had filled half of the basket in no time at all. Maybe I could find a job as a strawberry picker if ever I'm unemployed:P

On the way up the highlands after our little strawberry picking session, we stopped at a little clearing to take some pictures and I'm happy they turned out so well (judging by my own standards of course). And once we reached the top, we headed to the coffee house and the boy surprised me by ordering a piece of Christmas log cake along with the drinks. It tasted so delicious, before long it was all gone!


It was raining that whole afternoon so we had a walk in the indoors game centre to while away the time. The boy took a turn on the wheel of fortune and won a small little rose cushion (after a few failed attempts) for me which made me smile. After that, we decided to brave the rain which had subsided into a slow drizzle to the little japanese garden outside to take more pictures, of which you have already seen in this post.

I think the hugs one receives when the weather is cold are infinitely better, it warms you straight to your heart. And this marks the end of our little adventure in the mist.
