We remember moments

This is the second part of my outing just last week with the boy (which strangely feels like ages ago now)
We had so much fun taking pictures at the japanese garden and drinking hot coffee in the cold afterwards. Oh, and sitting around recording silly videos on my phone too. I find myself replaying them over and over again now that memories of the day are slowly fading away.

We do not remember days, we remember moments.

Kitty-esque/ Birthday

You might say it was love at first sight when I laid my eyes on this kitty-esque dress in my favourite local boutique spot. Being one of the many fans of that miu miu collection, I was constantly searching for any replicates or lookalikes. And finally, I have my hands on one of them after so long! What can I say? True love waits ♥

Oh, and I was swamped by a million mosquitoes while taking these pics, I hope they were worth it.

Anyway, this was my pre-birthday fine dining with my boy outfit last Saturday. We decided to have a mini whole day celebration earlier as my birthday falls on a Monday this year. It was wonderful having a day just to ourselves, doing some christmas shopping for the family before heading out to the city for an evening of exquisite Italian fine dining at a classy lil restaurant called Il Lido. I had the papardelle with duck confit, truffle and goose liver and I must say it was unlike anything I've ever tasted before! After our sumptuous meal, we went up to the roofbar for some drinks and enjoyed a lovely view of the city skyline, which marked the perfect end to my birthday celebration. So, thank you, dearest, for such a wonderful day! Not a bad way at all to celebrate leaving my twenties behind:)
Hope all you lovelies have a great start of the week!
xx

The Teapot Cafe

A very casual, dressed down Saturday with my bow printed top, jeans and new clogs. Sorry about the uncombed hair, I literally just woke up, changed and hopped into the car for some pics before breakfast.  My day was mostly spent at the bridal house ironing out some details on the prewedding photoshoot. Now that the date of the gown fitting and photoshoot have been settled, I only need to scout around for the perfect pair of heels which proves to be no easy task. Anyway, after sorting out all the details, we headed to a lovely place called the teapot cafe for some afternoon tea, sandwiches, cake and scones.

Hope you're enjoying the rest of your weekend with something equally lovely!
Will catch up with you dears soon

Kisses on the cheek

Just a few more pics from the outing we had the other day, I always have the best of time with my sister because she never fails to make me laugh! Just like a ray of sunshine kissing your cheek. What the world needs is more people like her really

p.s. I'm so, so glad it's Friday at last!!

For the love of sashimi

Just a quick post to show you some pics from tonight's dinner. We were out celebrating my brother's birthday with yummy Japanese sashimi, chawan mushi, fried ebi and takoyaki amongst other even more delicious food. I really wouldn't mind eating sashimi every day, I love these stuff ♥
And I seriously need more than 24 hours in a day lol! Anybody feeling the way I do?

Close to my heart

Hello everyone, I've just had the most exhausting day! We went on a little outing to a french village in the morning, had some delicious pizza for lunch and then walked our way up to a botanical garden and around a japanese village for the rest of the afternoon. Needless to say, I'm all tired out! So this will be a short post where the pictures really say it all. Since we took a lot of pics, there will probably be a part two to this soon. Oh, and you probably can't see them but those are tiny lil bow prints on my dress, I love it because it's so me

Building a city of dreams

So, my scalloped shorts finally made their first debut last weekend when my family and I went up to a lookout point to have the most marvellous view of the skyline and the city. The evening was spent at a leisure pace, having dinner and then we waited for the sun to set before I had too much fun twirling and playing around with the camera flash. I chose the two pics that I didn't look far too ghostly in to add the to post. Definitely need to experiment more with it. And I'm so happy I got to wear out my floral urban outfitters shoes too. Is there any item that makes you especially happy and makes you skip in your walk whenever you wear them?

You may have noticed some small pink hearts on the bottom left of each picture.Well, it's a super cool gadget from Hypeed, where you can save any picture that inspires you just by clicking the cute pink heart. And the photo will immediately appear on your HYPEED profile page (for those of you have have registered). Now how cool is that?

P.s. By the way, if any of you liked my la dolce vita outfit, do help me out by voting for it here! That would truly make my day:)
